⸻
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
•A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule.
•Deposits for specialist services remain non-refundable but may be transferred once at management discretion.
•Precision Detailing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to safety, weather (for mobile work), illness, or circumstances beyond our control.
⸻
5. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
Before commencing work, every effort will be made to inspect and document visible defects, pre-existing damage, or areas of concern.
However:
•It is not always possible to identify every defect prior to cleaning or correction.
•Precision Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, poor previous repairs, failing paint, lacquer peel, weak trim, degraded plastics, stone chips, or repainted panels.
•The owner must disclose any known issues before work begins.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if we believe continuing may cause damage.
⸻
6. Paint Correction & Detailing Expectations
Paint correction significantly improves defects but does not guarantee 100% perfection unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Some deeper scratches, stone chips, etching, or defects may remain if removal would compromise clear coat thickness or paint safety.
Results vary depending on paint condition, age, and previous repairs.
⸻
7. Ceramic Coating Warranty
All ceramic coatings supplied and installed by Precision Detailing carry a manufacturer-backed warranty.
•We are fully accredited and authorised installers of the coatings we provide.
•Manufacturer warranties apply subject to their terms and required aftercare.
•Failure to maintain the vehicle correctly may void the manufacturer’s warranty.
•Precision Detailing is not responsible for warranty rejection caused by improper aftercare or third-party interference.
⸻
8. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF installations carry up to a 10-year manufacturer warranty, subject to product specification.
Minor installation tolerances may include:
•Light edge visibility
•Minimal dust contamination within industry standards
•Slight relief cuts where required
These do not constitute defects.
Warranty claims are subject to manufacturer approval.
⸻
9. Window Tinting
Window tint installations carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty (product dependent).
Small water pockets or haziness may appear immediately after installation and will dissipate during curing.
Precision Detailing is not responsible for:
•Pre-existing heated rear screen faults
•Film failure caused by damaged window seals or mechanisms
•Customer interference during curing period
⸻
10. Vinyl Wrapping
Vinyl wrap services require higher deposits due to material ordering.
Wrap durability depends on:
•Underlying paint condition
•Environmental exposure
•Aftercare
Vinyl may show natural wear over time and is not a permanent paint substitute.
⸻
11. Storage & Vehicle Security
Vehicles may remain on site for multiple days.
•Vehicles stored inside the unit are insured.
•Vehicles left in the yard are left at the owner’s risk.
•The premises are secured with gated access and 24/7 internal and external CCTV.
Precision Detailing is not responsible for damage or loss outside of proven negligence.
⸻

•Access to a safe electrical power source.
If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, work may be rescheduled.

•Retention of vehicle until payment is made.
•Debt recovery action.
•Additional recovery costs being added to the balance.
⸻
14. Damage Claims
Any alleged damage must be reported in writing within 12 hours of vehicle collection.
Precision Detailing will be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any validated issue.
We reserve up to 60 days to resolve any agreed claim either directly or via our insurers.
No third-party repairs may be arranged without written consent.
